employee
Hello to all of our valued associates at McCroskey’s Irish Pub. Below are our advertisements for all of the
events over the next several days. It will be exciting, It will be fun, It will be strenuous, It will be time
consuming. Yes, you will make a lot of money! Yes, your feet will feel like they are going to fall off! We
understand. As a Thank You, all meals will be provided to all associates from Thursday, the 17th until
Sunday, the 20th. Please come early before your shift starts if you would like to eat at The Pub, or get
your face painted on Saturday with Cristy. You will not have time to eat during your shift. Again, PLEASE
COME EARLY! If you are on a double any of the days, you have been scheduled an hour off the clock
during the middle of your shift. Please remind the hostess and Jen or I, 30 min prior to you break, so that
we can cut you from the rotations so that you will not have any tables during your break. Everyone will
be busy including us, so again, please remind us. You do not have to take your full hour break if you do
not want to. Once you feel rested and are ready to proceed, let us know and we will put you back into
rotation.
We have several friends and employee family members that are coming out to help as well. If this
applies to you, please forward this email on to them as we may not have their email address. To all of
you, Thank you for helping out, we really appreciate you and Thank you to all the associates who
assisted us in finding more help.
As we wrap up, I would like to say that during these next few days, it is a very important time to
establish the groundwork and future of Your Pub, your career here at McCroskeys and the general
direction of where each of you see yourselves over the next year. While it is so very nice to have such an
influx in business for these next several days, I ask each of you to inquire as to what you can do to see to
it that each of these customers make a return trip to visit you when we are not so busy. What can you
do to make each customer feel as if McCroskeys is their new “favorite place”. We cannot do this without
you. This is a tremendous team effort that will mutually pay off for everyone involved. So, instead of just
dropping the check off and saying “Thanks” and turning and walking away, take an extra 10 seconds to
say “Thank you, and we hope that everything was wonderful and we hope to see you back real soon” or
if they have kids, say “Did you know that Becki The Balloon lady is here every Tuesday and kids eat
free?” A little bit goes a long way.
Thank you all again, and we do appreciate all you do and we look forward to working with you over the
next several days. Oh, and one more thing, A very special Thank You in advance to all who is scheduled
to work on Monday the 21st. We know that you will be tired.
Thank you again,
Chris and Jen
